Terms of Service

The agreement between Mamilat and the shop using it.

Last updated: 11 September 2026

By creating a Mamilat account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use Mamilat.

1. What Mamilat is

Mamilat is bookkeeping software for shopkeepers. It records what you tell it and presents it back to you. It is a record-keeping tool: it is not accounting, tax or legal advice, and it does not move money or process payments.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for everything recorded under your account. Tell us at once if you think somebody else has got into it. One account represents one business; you may use it on more than one device.

3. Your data is yours

The ledger you keep in Mamilat belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it and do not use it for any purpose of our own. You can export any account as a PDF at any time, and you can ask us to delete everything — see the Privacy Policy.

4. Accuracy of your records

Mamilat performs the arithmetic on the entries you make. It cannot know whether an entry is correct, and the figures it shows are only as good as what was entered. You remain responsible for your accounts, and for checking them before relying on them in a dispute or a tax filing.

5. Subscription and payment

Mamilat begins with a free trial. After that, continued use requires a subscription, arranged and paid directly with our agents. There is no payment gateway in the app and we never ask for card details inside it. If a subscription lapses, your records are not deleted — access is limited until it is renewed.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Mamilat to break the law, to store information you have no right to hold, or to attempt to gain access to other shops' data or to our systems.

7. Availability

The app works offline by design, so day-to-day bookkeeping does not depend on us being reachable. Backup and sign-in do need our servers, and those may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control.

8. Limitation of liability

Mamilat is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost business, arising from use of the app. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Keeping your own copies of anything critical remains sensible.

9. Ending the agreement

You may stop using Mamilat and ask for deletion at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why where we can.

10. Changes

These terms may change. The date above shows when they last did, and material changes will be announced in the app.
