Works without signal
The ledger lives on the phone, so it opens and records whether or not there is a connection. Backup runs when there is.

Produce a PDF statement for any account and send it over WhatsApp, so a customer can check the figures themselves.
Cashbook
Money in and out of the till, kept alongside the accounts, so the cash on hand is a figure rather than a guess.
Locked to you
A PIN or a fingerprint before the books open, for a phone that gets picked up at a shared counter.
Signing in
Mamilat is used by one shop on one or more phones, so the ledger has to follow the owner rather than the handset.
You can sign in with Google, with Apple, or with an email address and password. When you use Google or Apple, Mamilat asks them only for your name and email address — enough to recognise you next time and to head the statements your shop sends out. Mamilat never asks for access to your contacts, your files, your calendar or your mail, and it cannot read anything else in your Google account.
